At AFS each classroom has access to a Smart Board. Technology is further infused through the use of laptops, iPads, iPods and personal electronic devices.

Our Learning Commons had a makeover during the summer of 2023, and it looks amazing! Thank you to all the students, parents, and staff who helped create a vision and bring our dreams to life. We are grateful to the Parent Association for providing all the funding to make this renovation possible, and to all the parents who have supported fundraising efforts over the past few years to provide the allocated funding.

The new furniture, carpeting, and larger area really opens up the space for all our learners to access the resources.

January 2025 - with the arrival of the new bookcases prior to the winter break we are pleased to share that ALL the books are now out of the gray bins and able to be in the hands of students (and staff). We are eagerly awaiting the remainder of the bookcase installation and anticipate the continued revival of this learning space over the remainder of the 2025 calendar year.
