Thank you!
What a wonderful first 2
days we had here at AFS. Welcoming all students, new and returning, went smoothly
and that is in large part due to your support and cooperation. We all enjoyed
seeing the students and families and are so excited for this year ahead. We
trust all staff and students will be enjoying this long weekend, we look
forward to welcoming everyone again on Tuesday morning.
Wasp
Warning
Please be aware that it is wasp
season outside. Students are reminded to let wasps do their thing and not
disturb them should they come across their path. If students are stung, we
follow First Aid procedures and will let you know, we’re sure your child will
also let you know! If your child needs an Epi Pen here at school, please ensure
this is on-site as soon as possible along with the completed medical forms.
(see below for details)
Health Forms - Medications
Medical, and other, forms
will be coming home with all students this coming week. If your child requires
a health form, there are two forms to complete the Student Health Plan and the Student
Health Emergency Response Protocol. Please ensure that both forms are filled
out, if needed, and returned to the office/homeroom teacher. You can also access
the forms here,
and here.
If your child does not require a health form at this time please recycle or
return the empty forms. Thank you.
When applicable, it is required
that students either wear epi-pens and inhalers on their person (in a fanny
pack) or one be housed in the office. If you require support with this
expectation please talk to Ms. Sharpe or Mr. Littel in the office.
