Your grade 5 and 6 students were all having a great time at camp so far today. 

The trip there was a little eventful, with a broken down bus near Winsport (turns out the Willco depot is right there so a new bus arrived within 10 minutes), and then a little hike in at the end when a bus got stuck going up the mucky mini hill! However, once everyone arrived at Camp Connect they were welcoming with sunshine, a hot dog lunch, and outdoor time. Archery, team building activities, and forest games were on the agenda this afternoon. This evening there was an indoor campfire. The excitement of the day promises to lead to sleepy students tonight.

We know you'll be missing your children, thank you for letting them participate in the adventure.

Have a great couple of days and we'll see you between 2:45 and 3:00 on Friday afternoon for pick up.
